Ranbir Kapoor, who is busy glad-handing the press and public alike for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil promotions, called in to the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show on Wednesday with his co-stars, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, looking every bit the swashbuckling leading man that he is. I believe he filmed for two episodes ‘cos he was seen in two different — but equally sublime! — outfits. Wanna see?

First up was an #allblackeverything look consisting of a handwoven khadi jacket, cotton-silk kurta and cotton-satin trousers from Antar-Agni’s Winter/Festive’16 collection and an intriguing pair of lace-ups from Guidi.
Major love, from head-to-toe — because it had a mildly rebellious feel without any of the theatrics employed by some ill-advised mavericks.

He erred on the side of timelessness for the next look, opting for a single-breasted jacket with guru collar in checked pattern from Ermenegildo Zegna’s Autumn/Winter’15 collection, grey trousers from Obvious Basic’s Autumn/Winter’16 collect and a pair of beautifully crafted tan plain-toe Oxford shoes from Salvatore Ferragamo.
He was THE picture of masculine elegance in this!

So, between the two looks which one you liked better? As much as I loved the neat and dapper Zegna look, I’ve to go with the Antar-Agni one. We rarely see Ranbir experiment with his outfits, so this was a delightful treat for us fashion watchers. Plus, he cut an appropriately youthful, spiffy figure in it.
